WHAT IS A DEVACUT?

A DevaCut is a customized shape based on the current state of your hair, from long to short and anything in between.  More information can be found on the Services page. 

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR DEVACUT?

WHAT IF I WEAR MY HAIR STRAIGHT?

Beyond Texture supports you and stresses that education around how you choose to wear your hair is the most important thing we have to offer.  A DevaCut and DevaCurl Transformation can be customized for your desires.  It is also understood that healthy hair is how a Beyond Texture service is the most effective.

ARE THERE ANY TEXTURES YOU DO NOT WORK ON?

No curl left behind!  (This also means wave, coil, kink, bend, straight, or otherwise!)  We will discuss your curl pattern further and its potential at the time of your service.

DO YOU CUT CURLY KIDS AND MEN?

Absolutely!  No curl left behind!  The rates listed under the Services page are applicable to all.  Please note children are not to be left alone during the service and it is pertinent that the parent(s) are present for the education.

DO YOU DO COLOR SERVICES?

At this time, I do not take color services.  However, I can recommend experienced colorists.

HOW LONG DOES YOUR APPOINTMENT TYPICALLY LAST?

Depending on the appointment you book, density of the hair, and condition of the hair, a service can last anywhere from 1 - 3 hours total.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

NYC.  I work out of the DevaChan Salons in NYC.  More information can be found on the services page. 

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT FOR SERVICES AND GRATUITY?

All major credit cards and cash for services.  Please note cash tips are encouraged for gratuity, or Venmo -  @jkfitz, Cash App - @jkfitz, or Chase/Zelle jkfitz00@gmail.com
